Join artist Jen Leung Johnson for a workshop on the basics of kintsugi repair. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer and gold, silver or platinum. This art form treats breakage as part of the history of an object rather than something to disguise. Bring a broken vase or other piece of broken pottery and learn an artful way to make it whole again, or work with one of the broken objects we provide. All materials provided. Cost is $30 per person.   

Need childcare so that you can participate? Bring your kids in grades K-5 for a loosely structured craft activity that will take place in the SUAGkids area.
