Mosaic: 74th Bi-annual Senior Exhibition
Mosaic
April 13 - May 15, 2026
SU Art Galleries | Downtown & University Gallery
Salisbury University proudly presents Mosaic, its 74th biannual Senior Art Exhibition, celebrating the remarkable creativity and artistic growth of forty-six graduating artists. This expansive showcase highlights fine art and graphic design capstone projects that embody each student’s distinct voice, experiences, and evolving identity.
Like the intricate arrangement of tiles forming a unified image, Mosaic illustrates how diverse perspectives and creative processes combine to create a vibrant portrait of expression and transformation. Each graduating artist has explored, refined, and reconstructed their personal vision—culminating in a dynamic exhibition that honors the synergy of community, imagination, and artistic discovery. Works span a wide range of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, new media, photography, digital art, and graphic design.
The main campus exhibitions will be on view April 13–May 15, 2026, at the SU Art Galleries Downtown. A Fine Arts Reception will take place on Friday, April 17, from 5–7 p.m., followed by the Graphic Design Reception on Friday, April 24, from 5–7 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public. The Mosaic exhibition at Salisbury University’s Shady Grove campus will run May 8–July 10 at the Sarah Silberman Gallery in Rockville, Maryland, with an opening reception on Friday, May 8, from 5–8 p.m.
Guided by Professor Jinchul Kim at the main campus and Cat Simmons at Shady Grove, the Senior Exhibition course invites students to curate, design, and present professional-level art exhibitions—representing both the culmination of their academic study and the beginning of their artistic careers.
Join us in celebrating these emerging artists and experience Mosaic—a powerful convergence of creativity and identity where distinct voices unite to reflect the enduring artistic spirit of Salisbury University.
